Life:: Changes

This is a good, but hard post for me to write. One thing that God has really been revealing to me is that I need to trust Him- even if I don't understand things logically- listening to His voice speak and trusting His faithfulness is so important to communing with Him. And believe me- I am far from perfect in getting this right. I am on a journey though- as we all are.
When we started in January of last year (2010) having the business be an avenue for spreading the love of Jesus- it didn't totally make sense (logistically). But we knew that it was the right thing to do. And it has been so amazing!
But I really feel the Lord leading me to take an indefinite break. This season has been amazing- but this is going to be a new season of investing deeply in my family.
So with that said- I have deeply enjoyed getting to know each person and family that I have worked with. I never really pursued marketing much- but I always trusted that the Lord would bring me who he wanted me to have connection with. I am so thankful for your grace and trust that you gave me.
So I will be finishing up a bunch of seniors in August. Then off to start the school year! I will be leaving my website up and this blog up (at least I think for now). But if I have any changes- I will post it to my blog and website. Take care and God bless!

Cami:: Bridal Portraits

Cami and her husband Stacy celebrated this year- 20 years of marriage! She wanted to surprise Stacy with these pictures so we had to be stealthy. Cami brought some great items that helped to tell their story. From the flowers with 5 roses that represented the members of their family- to the necklace with 5 pearls given to her by Stacy. Thanks for letting me take these memorable pictures and congratulations on 20 years!!

Lucan:: Newborn

Sorry for the delay in posting. Helping out at our church's VBS last week and editing photos captured my spare time last week. My good friend Kara had this little sweetie at the beginning of June. I was able to catch some first moments at the hospital and do a newborn session a few days after his birth day! What a beautiful baby!!











This last one is my fav.! I want to put it on my wall!

Simple Sessions:: Adeline, Lily, and Rachel

We did these simple studio sessions the other night. Typically, these are only done indoors. But it was a perfect night with great lighting outside- so we opted to go outside behind our backyard!

I LOVE this first one- especially the with the purse. A great Goodwill find by her mom the night before!





Rachel lost 2 more teeth since our session the other week. So we took a few just to document this stage in Rachel's life!

Mini Sessions:: Rainy Day

Despite last Saturday's rain, we were able to squeeze these 2 mini sessions in! Rachel is near and dear to my heart as she is a good buddy of my oldest son. And like my son, Rachel is losing her teeth! 2 right in front, which made for some cute pictures!



These 2 guys have quite the adventure coming for them this summer- their moving to Connecticut! God bless your family on your new journey!

Britney and Ryan:: Married! May 21.2011

Britney and Ryan chose to have their 1st meeting outside.. it turned out to be the perfect day for them! It had rained so much the day before- we were holding our breath and praying for no rain!
