Rachel:: Spring {Senior} Session

Rachel wanted something different for her senior pictures. She wanted to capture the different seasons- so we did 3 mini sessions for her over this past year.

The Arie den Boer Arboretum was in perfect bloom at Waterworks Park in Des Moines, IA. It is breathtaking when all the crabapple trees are blossoming! Congratulations on completing your senior year Rachel- God bless the road ahead for you!

Rachel:: {Spring} Preview

Rachel:: Senior 2011

It was kind of like stepping into a different world- Rachel, her mom, and I ventured down an old trail by their house to capture some photos for Rachel. This path was a favorite for their family- and it was great hearing Rachel's mom recount stories and memories made there.

What we came upon when the trail ended was this amazing canyon (I guess I not sure if it's technically a canyon) with a lake right in front of it. It was so peaceful and beautiful there. We then went to an old barn that they knew of and ended by Camp Dodge.

Dellanie:: Senior 2011

Dellanie was great to work with! I really enjoyed our session on another beautiful fall day. It seems like we have had so many of them recently! It is refreshing. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Drew:: Senior 2011

Drew, his mom, and I met downtown last week to do his senior photos. We went all around and even found a bale of hay to use as a prop! It was great meeting you both! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Katy:: Senior 2011

We had a beautiful evening to do Katy's session where we roamed all over Valley Junction and Raccoon River Park.
I LOVE this first one!! Katy was so natural and easy to photograph- as you can tell by this picture.

What awesome seniors I am having this year to photograph! Rachel was another amazingly easy and fun senior to take pictures of.
Rachel, her mom and I went over to the Rose Gardens last week to do a mini session. We will be doing another mini session in the fall- so watch for more photos to come!

Jake:: Senior 2011

Here are a few of Jake's senior session we did the other weekend. He was SUCH an easy-going guy, calm, cool, and composed. It made my job pretty easy! I hope you enjoy his photos.

Morgan:: Senior 2011

Morgan had a beautiful evening last week to take her senior pictures- one where you could tell that fall was just around the corner.




I love this one- she just happened to have walked on the cement and got some great footprints.


Morgan wanted to end the session in water... so we found this fountain that she jumped in! How fun!
