It was kind of like stepping into a different world- Rachel, her mom, and I ventured down an old trail by their house to capture some photos for Rachel. This path was a favorite for their family- and it was great hearing Rachel's mom recount stories and memories made there.
What we came upon when the trail ended was this amazing canyon (I guess I not sure if it's technically a canyon) with a lake right in front of it. It was so peaceful and beautiful there. We then went to an old barn that they knew of and ended by Camp Dodge.
