I am really enjoying this winter. I think because from the outset, I knew I would be housebound (having a newborn and 2 others kiddos to take care of). I knew this winter would be one of personal growth and spiritual growth. Don't get me wrong- it has been stretching for me to be home this much- it hasn't been a cakewalk. But I am feeling like God is refining and teaching me about me and about Him. One of my goals for this year (2010), personally, is to be more open and honest with people. I think sometimes I fear the repercussions of doing that. But I know, in life, it is worth it. I am a sinner saved by grace and I want to rejoice in that. I want through my blog posts for you to see the real me. So, I am starting this new goal by even being open enough to share my new goal.
